The Mavericks are the hottest team in the NBA at this point, winning 6 straight. They will face the phoenix Suns on Saturday. This will most likely be the debut of Keith Van Horn as a Dallas Maverick.

Little Johnny lived in the country. They had to use an outhouse, and Little Johnny hated it because it was hot in the summer, cold in the winter and stank all the time.
The outhouse was sitting on the bank of a creek and Little Johnny determined that one day he would push that outhouse into the creek.
One day after a spring rain, the creek was swollen so Little Johnny decided today was the day to push the outhouse into the creek.
He got a large stick and started pushing. Finally, the outhouse toppled into the creek and floated away.
That night his dad told him they were going to the wood shed after supper. Knowing that meant a spanking, Little Johnny asked why.
The dad replied, "Someone pushed the outhouse into the creek today. It was you, wasn't it, son?"
Little Johnny answered, "Yes".
Then he thought a moment and said, "Dad, I read in school today that George Washington chopped down a cherry tree and didn't get into trouble because he told the truth."
The dad replied, "Well, son, George Washington's father wasn't in that cherry tree."

The Sacramento Kings made a huge trade. They traded their best player, Chris Webber, to the Philadelphia 76rs. I though that that trade was one of the most stupidest trades ever. Sacramento is just basically saying that they are starting over now, so that kinda means good news to the Mavericks because if Sacramento stays in the 5th seed of the west, the Mavs will have no problem eliminating them from the playoffs.

The Dallas Mavericks traded Calvin Booth, Alan Henderson and cash for Keith Van Horn to the Milwaikee Bucks. I personally don't have any idea on why the Dallas Mavericks would make this trade, but there has been some speculation that Milwaukee might not want Alan Henderson, so they might release him and Dallas can resign him. Hopefully that is what will happen.

The Dallas Mavericks had gone 5-0 on the road trip. They returned to face archrival the Sacramento Kings. Both teams were undermaned, but Dallas prevailed. Marquise Daniels flirted with a triple-double, he had 29 points, 9 rebounds, and 8 assists only on his second night back from his injury. The Mavericks once again came back in the fourth quarter, Dirk Nowitski and Micheal Finley were the leaders of that comeback, Finley had 22 points and Nowitski had 34.

Well Devin Harris has recently become the Mavs' 6th man, of course since Jerry Stackhouse got injured. He is avereging just over 10 points per game. The Mavs with this win went 5-0, and on the road, which is pretty damn hard to do. Yes, even to the San Antonio Spurs. Nowitski had team high honors with 29 points.

Yup, that was the award handed to Allen Iverson from the Philedelphia 76rs for being the MVP of the All Star Game. He finished with 15 points, 9 assists, 4 rebounds, and 5 steals. He has won this award twice now. Finishing with that, All Star Weekend is now officially over, and will be back at Houston next year.

All of these players will be starting in the 2005 All Star Game. It is going to be a showdown the best of the best going at it. The game has to be even better that the slam dunk contest because the dunk contest was better than the Rookie Challenge, so the expectancy has been raised!

This was an amazing, perfect, astonishing dunk made by Josh Smith. This rookie will now be known around the league for being the Dunk Champion. Well he won it this year, who will win it next? He could do it again in the near future, I mean he is only 19! Well Pheonix really came to win as they won 3/4 events in the All Star Saturday.

The Mavericks took care of the team who had the best record in the league (thanks to the Mavericks they don't anymore). The score was 119-113. Josh Howard came up big with a new carrier high 30 points, Finley really helped the cause with 33, although Nowitski only had 16 points, he also had 16 rebounds and 4 assists. People were comparing this game to a playoff game, so if it would have been a playoff game the Mavericks would have won it.

Josh Howard Helped the Sophmores win over the rookies with 7 points and 5 rebounds in 13 minutes. While Devin Harris led the rookies in assists with 6. This game was filled with alley-oops and more crazy stuff. It sure was a fun game to watch.

This was a very nice film, it really made me think about some things like if Shakespeare really did write all of his plays or if some were written by Christopher Marlowe. Everything was pretty strange, well then again it was in 1593. Will, as Shakespeare was called in the film, was actually not that good compared to Marlowe. It's actually kind of funny that Will visited an apothecary for help. The whole story seemed as if it was a different type of Romeo and Juliet, maybe it was based on Will's real life? Lots of things that you don't see today happened in the film like talking to someone else while your with that person in bed. LOL. Women's rights, of course, weren't established yet. Like women couldn't act. Also it's pretty stupid that rich people couldn't go to plays, the plays had to come to them, like the queen.
Pretty strange how men acted women's parts and how lady Violet acted Romeo's part, but at the end she ended up acting Juliet's part because the boy Juliet hit puberty. LOL. Also when lady Violet was caught by Webster that she was a women, according to Mr. Locke that couldn't have had happened because Webster came years after Shakespeare. Very interesting how the priest was against plays at the beginning and when he saw Romeo and Juliet he changed his mind, how we was even crying. If it was put to thought anyone would think that this film was probably based on irony.

Well, today I performed my fight scene. I think I did very well, I mean I had my lines memorized except, amazingly, for the last line. My group really worked hard and hopefully all of us passed with that performance.

The Mavericks have gone 3-0 so far in this road trip as they defeated the Golden Sate Warriors, in this win the rookie, and my favorite player, Devin Harris stepped up from the bench to help that victory. They will put their skills to the test as they will play the best team in the league the phoenix Suns. It is going to be a showdown, first of all the Mavericks will seek to revenge from them for beating us in our homecourt. Second of all, we will be playing against former Dallas Maverick, Steve Nash, and he will look to have another amazing night against his former team. O course, there is one problem with that, the Dallas Mavericks are coming to play at phoenix.

In more NBA news, people really need to pay attention to those Chicago Bulls. They are in the playoff race for the east, but what's amazing about that is that this team is mostly filled with rookies. Moving to the Minnesota Timberwolves, they really need to get it together. They come from the best record in the west last season to not even being on the playoff race. Something needs to happen there.Posted by Hello

Boy oh boy oh boy that was one of the best games of the season. The Mavericks came from behind to defeat Seattle on Sunday. Thanks to Jason Terry once again the Mavs come with another win, Jason Terry shot the three pointer with 8.7 seconds remaining, which was pretty much the decisive shot of the game. Also Michael Finley, Erick Dampier, and Dirk Nowitski had double-doubles. Of course congratulations to Don Nelson for becoming the all time Mavericks winingest coach. Posted by Hello

The Mavericks were clearly ready to play at Sacramento as they took care of them with a score of 115-113. They had a chance to win it but Mike Bibby missed the three-pointer. The Mavericks will take on the Seattle Supersonics on Sunday and will try to go two in a row as this road trip continues. Posted by Hello

A wealthy man decided to go on a safari in Africa. He took his faithful pet dog along for company. One day the dog starts chasing butterflies and before long he discovers that he is lost. So, wandering about he notices a leopard heading rapidly in his direction with the obvious intention of having lunch.
The dog thinks, "Boyo, I'm in deep doo doo now." (He was an Irish setter).... Then he noticed some bones on the ground close by, and immediately settles down to chew on the bones with his back to the approaching cat.
Just as the leopard is about to leap, the dog exclaims loudly, "Man, that was one delicious leopard. I wonder if there are any more around here?"
Hearing this the leopard halts his attack in mid stride, as a look of terror comes over him, and slinks away into the trees. "Whew", says the leopard. "That was close. That dog nearly had me."
Meanwhile, a monkey who had been watching the whole scene from anearby tree, figures he can put this knowledge to good use and trade it for protection from the leopard. So, off he goes. But the dog saw him heading after the leopard with great speed, and figured that something must be up.
The monkey soon catches up with the leopard, spills the beans and strikes a deal for himself with the leopard. The cat is furious at being made a fool of and says, "Here monkey, hop on my back and see what's going to happen to that conniving canine."
Now the dog sees the leopard coming with the monkey on his back, and thinks, "What am I going to do now?" But instead of running, the dog sits down with his back to his attackers pretending he hasn't seen them yet. And just when they get close enough to hear, the dog says, "Where's that monkey. I just can never trust him. I sent him off half an hour ago to bring me another leopard, and he's still not back!!"

The Mavericks lost to the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday. It was a tough one it was close all the way through, yes most of the team are rookies, but they are experienced rookies like international rookies or rookies that were like the top ten last year. No I am not trying to put excuses but it's fact, so what the Mavericks lost but they will bounce back on Friday as they play the Sacramento Kings. Hopefully Marquis Daniels and Jerry Stackhouse will be back by then as they are two of our most productive players, so get well soon Marquis and Jerry! Posted by Hello

Throughout Acts 4 and 5 the conflicts really started to heat up for the Friar. It first starts with the collapse of his plan in which Romeo stay in Mantua until he can come back of course that was out of the picture because Juliet was going to "marry" Paris. Then with the collapse of his other plan in which Juliet pretends to be dead by drinking that potion. That gets ruined by Romeo not knowing the plan and killing himself. The theme that really shone out was fate, it played a huge part in the story. Symbolism also took a good part of the story, at first I didn't notice it when the Friar came into the story at first but the plants that he talked about were going to take a huge part in death.
One thing that was weird is that Shakespeare made the number of deaths eve 2 Montegues, 2 Capulets, and 2 family members of the Prince. "But if thou, jealous, dost return to pry in what I farther shall intend to do"

-Act 5 scn. 3 (33-34)
I think that this was important simply because of the reason that if Romeo hadn't said that maybe he would have never died nor Juliet, but it did.
Eventhough it was a pretty hard book to understand it was a very good book because I understood it thanks to Mr. Locke who was always pausing between lines to explain stuff, and that really helped.

Once again the New England Patriots are the Super Bowl Champions and they are supposedly just as good as the 90s Cowboys but in my opinion they are not even close. Posted by Hello

Well someone finally answered the teeser and of course it had to be Mr. Locke and as promised the answer is $0.17.

The Mavericks went to play in Canada as they beat the Toronto Raptors at Toronto. They won 122-113, they had a lead as big as 25 but saw it go down to 5 midway through the fourth quarter but it wasn't enough to beat the Mavericks. The Mavericks had three players get double-doubles in Jason Terry, Erick Dampier, and Dirk Nowitski. They will play the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday, and they will see Don Nelson return to the bench as he was out for two weeks, so it will be good to see him return. Posted by Hello

The Dallas Mavericks came real close to come up with a victory in Indiana. They trailed by as many as 11 but brought it to within one at the last 4 seconds of the ball game. Dirk was trying to do the old miss the free throw and get the rebound and score trick so they could win the game but as many of you know Dirk is so good that he can't miss, so he made the free throw that could have gave the mavs a chance to tie the game and send it into over time but I guess when a team looses six in a row like the Indiana Pacers had done, a team comes fired up to win a game. The starters for the All Star Game have been named they unfortunately don't include anyone from Dallas but it does include some players that are worth watching. Besides the All Star Game there is the Rookie challenge in which Josh Howard and Devin Harris will be participating in. There are many more things to the All Star Game like the Dunk Contest and the Three Point Contest, so be sure not to miss it on February 20, 2005.
But here are the starters:

Centers:

  • Yao Ming, Shaquile O'Neal

Forwards:

  • Tim Duncan, Grant Hill
  • Kevin Garnett, Vince Carter

Guards:

  • Tracy McGrady, Lebron James
  • Kobe Bryant, Allen Iverson

And by the way Kobe is undecided if he will play or not because of his injury but if he doesn't, it looks like Steve Nash might step into that role.Posted by Hello

Jerry Stackhouse had an amazing night vs. the New Orleans Hornets as he scored 19 points. In his previous game, which was against Miami, he by himself outscored the opponents bench. We might, by what it looks like, be seeing the 6th Man Of The Year. Posted by Hello

The Mavs came up with a thrilling game yesterday when they faced the Miami Heat. Wow im still remembering the great things that happened yesterday, I mean Josh Howard and Marquis Daniels "the twins" came back. Stackhouse is the one that really has to be given credit to I know that is a picture of Dirk but it's the only one I have of the game. But it was a fantastic game if you missed it you missed out on what can perhaps be the teams that are going to make it in to the NBA finals. Posted by Hello
