Academic Decathlon Competition

Well yesterday I experienced my very first Academic competition, Invitationals. It was a long day, woke up at 6 and left for school at 7 and didn't come back home till like about 4:30. It was a long day of testing, but it payed off at the end. Once the awards ceremony came, I was anxious to know if my name would be called out to see if I had medaled in any subject. Science was called, and I didn't hear my name. Art, same thing. Then it was Economics, which was one of my weakest subjects so I didn't really expect for my name to be called out, but to my surprise I heard "getting the silver medal, from Sunset Purple: Juan Carlos Gonzalez" I was so surprised at this, and proud of my self. I went on to win two other individual medals, bronze in Music, and bronze in Super Quiz. In total I had 4, the fourth one was as a team, for the Super Quiz Relay. I enjoyed my very first competition, very nice. At the end my team ended up winning the entire competition, Sunset's Purple Protozoa, my team, yup we are #1. Very exciting competition.

gosh you loser!!! lol. jk. you have such a vivid memory, lol. but yeah it was pretty cool. Except for the fact that we did test almost all day, but i have to admit it paid off. oh yeah GO PURPLE!

Yea it was cool, but you guys only won cuz yall have more people in your team, but anyway congradulations. I got two medals, and the math was the one that surprised me, cuz thats the subject that i really suck on. But i got bronze for math, yeah, i guessed on all of it except for #29.
